About me

Hello! My name is Armandine, and I am a special education student at Purdue University Online. I have a strong passion for providing personalized and effective educational support to students with special needs. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes, as well as spending time with my family. I also love to travel and explore new places.

Welcome to my e-portfolio! Throughout this journey, I will share my challenges and discoveries as I pursue a career as a special educator. As a special educator, I am dedicated to helping students reach their full potential. I believe in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. With my e-portfolio, you can learn more about my experience and qualifications

My name is Armandine Daizo, and I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Special Education at Purdue University. I am enrolled in an online program, which offers flexibility for my studies. In addition to being a student, I am also a wife, and a mother of three children.

I moved to the United States a few years ago and decided to make a career change. In my home country, I worked as a speech therapist for over eight years. Here, I am working as a speech therapist assistant and have developed a passion for working with children. This led me to embark on a new journey in the field of special education.

The language is a big challenge for me because my first language is French. As I pursue my studies in special education, I recognize that developing proficiency in English is crucial. Although it can be challenging at times, I am dedicated to improving my language skills through coursework, interactions with professors and classmates, and utilizing various English-language resources. I am determined to embrace this challenge as an opportunity for growth and personal development, knowing that many successful individuals have faced similar language barriers and have overcome them.

I am particularly drawn to the challenges that come with being in the education field. I believe that as a teacher, one is always a student and constantly learning and growing.
